13°C in Sydney this morning

I woke up early and find myself chilling when I went outside for a walk. It is so cold I am shivering inside.

My first time to feel how cold 13°C is. They said it will still become colder in a few weeks. I will see what I can do LOL

I miss Philippine Foods

Today I miss the foods we used to prepare in the Philippines. How I wish I could eat sinugba. I really miss eating fish whether it is tinola, sinugba or prito. Australian has different types of food they usually eat. Its more on burgers.

Although for breakfast, its quite the same. Eggs, bacon, ham and some stuffs but they do not eat rice that much. Rice is quite expensive. They eat it with toasted bread.

Everything is expensive here in Australia. I buy chocolate like 100 pesos a bar.

I wish I could return to the Philippines soon and eat all the foods I crave for specially the food that my wife prepares.

Visit to Opera House

Opera House is one of the best places that you should visit when you are in Australia. It has a very nice structure. It is a multi-venue performing arts center that was built by Danish architect Jorn Utzon. It has a Concrete frame & precast concrete ribbed roof. Inside it has a Concert Hall, Opera Theatre, Drama Theatre, Playhouse, Studio, Utzon Room and Forecourt.

Outside the house, you've got a good breeze coming from the sea. On the other side of the place is a bridge.

The Harbour bridge was built and opened in 1932. Locally nicknamed "The Coathanger" or "Colin", it was built by Dorma Long and Co, Ltd.

One time during a Music Festival and House Music Competition, I was able to get inside the House and watched the contest for free. This is a yearly contest of high school students divided into groups called 'house'. Each house will prepare their own musical piece or rendition of an existing piece. It is like a speech choir done by students in the Philippines.

Cars in Australia

A couple of times I have been on the street and found a lot of good cars Australian are driving. See some of these here.

Visit to Manly, Sydney

Today we visited Manly via ferry. It was just a 15-30minute travel by Sydney Harbour. Manly is a suburb of northern Sydney. There are a lot of stores that sell cheap items.

The place is clean and very nice. I even used the park picture as my laptop's desktop background picture.

Manly is famous of its beach. It features a long stretch of sand on the ocean side.
